These days everyone knows that you can make for surveys online, but I’m not positive that everyone knows exactly how lucrative it can actually be. I was unhappy with my job last year, with so much commuting and traveling, I felt my life was passing me by without enough time for my family. I was motivated to find a way to run my own business from my home or local office. At first I struggled trying to find something that I both liked and that would pay at least enough to offset my previous salary. Most of the time these sites don’t even have any companies providing surveys or have a small database of surveys for small companies, and the survey payouts reflect that. These sites have given the entire make money taking surveys industry a terrible reputation due to their low pay and horrible business etiquette. In fact, many of these sites are scams, and a handful have come under criminal investigation for selling private information.

There are some great programs available that pay you well for your opinion of real products. The most reputable money survey websites include:

- Membership Fees: There is no way around it. Any legitimate money survey program is going to have some kind of membership fee or sign up fee. They use this to maintain the program, training, support provided and to keep the high number of companies providing surveys updated. Most membership sites also do what they can to weed out marketing based companies, SPAMers and scamers so that you won’t have to worry about receiving too much SPAM or identity theft.

- Large Companies: Any legitimate company that allows you to make money taking surveys is going to feature a plethora of large brand names that you surely have heard of before. These names often include the likes of Hewlett Packard, Burger King, McDonalds, Dell and Sony. These are the types of companies you should look for when choosing a paid survey company. These companies will value your opinion on their products, and be able to compensate you well for your opinion.

So if you are looking for a better life then your current daily rat race, or simple would like your own business that offers more long term security (especially during these uncertain times), then earning online money for surveys is something you should definitely look into.
